This workshop is aimed at those who feel they would benefit form having a wider understanding of knowledge of rope work and systems that would be a valuable addition to their skill set tool box.

A workshop like this is very much tailored to the need of those in attendance and can cover everything form the most basic of knots that you might use in a white water environment right through to what might seem like the most daunting abseil / hauling and ascending setups.
- Have you even been on a course where its assumed that you know X,Y and Z knots and when you ask about them its just glossed over as its only a tiny part of a packed course syllabus?
- Are you about to head away on your first big trip away to a far off land where some of the portages might require you to set up an abseil or a haul to get you and your gear around unrunable rapids or siphons?
- Have you ever wondered how you might extract you and your party out of a gorge like environment in case of a forced walk out?
- Are you just hungry to know more and keen to build on the skills you might already have?

If you can answer yes to any of the questions above then this is the workshop for you, workshops like this can be very flexible in how and where they are run. They can be tailored to run as half / full days or even as an evening session during the summer months.
This course is staffed by experienced mountaineers who are also paddlers and are aware of the unique set of challenges that the river environment presents.
