<description>Adrian, it&#039;s great that you appreciate the Robot. It&#039;s an amazing device. We use it here since many years for mountaineering, especially in the rescue operation of a crevasse fall, but also for rappelling.
Your description is perfect. I would only add for beginners to pay care on the fact that the Robot must always be used under tension on the rope(s). If it gets loose on the rope(s) (= tension fading away), the central grey latch can pivot on a side and it simply comes out of the rope system (=danger !).
All the best,

<description>If I was to try what your thinking I would try remove the exesting tape if it is possible and then attach the latex seal to the fabric and small bit of the neopreene. I know the taping on Kokatat goretex can be removed with an iron but if your cag is a Peak UK laminated fabric do no try remove the tape this way.

Just attach to the inside of the fabric and leave the neo seal in place. If lash up some photos of the cag I may be able to better advise.

		<description>Hey Adrian,
great tutorial. I have a cag deck with a baggy neoprene neck. Should i leave it in place and glue a latex one inside it or should i remove it first. And should I glue the new latex to the inside of the neoprene seal or to the taping holding it to the fabric of the cag? Thanks. G</description>

		<description>Hello,
I am going to replace a neck gasket using your tutorial. How much of the old gasket should be left over a goretex fabrick (Kakatat dry suit)?
I would appreciate your help.
